Vidya Chetana is a Scholarship Programme initiated by Youth for Seva in 2009. This programme was conceived with the objective to support education of students hailing from underprivileged socio-economic backgrounds. The programme aims at providing scholarship to students pursuing PUC (10+2), Degree, Engineering, and Medical studies. Our beneficiaries include poor students, handicapped students, and students who lost their parents during COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, we are supporting 5,775 students across 10 states.

विद्या चेतना 2009 में यूथ फॉर सेवा द्वारा शुरू किया गया एक छात्रवृत्ति कार्यक्रम है। इस कार्यक्रम की कल्पना वंचित सामाजिक-आर्थिक पृष्ठभूमि से आने वाले छात्रों की शिक्षा का समर्थन करने के उद्देश्य से की गई थी। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य पीयूसी (10+2), डिग्री, इंजीनियरिंग और मेडिकल अध्ययन करने वाले छात्रों को छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान करना है। हमारे लाभार्थियों में गरीब छात्र, विकलांग छात्र और वे छात्र शामिल हैं जिन्होंने COVID-19 महामारी के दौरान अपने माता-पिता को खो दिया है। वर्तमान में, हम 10 राज्यों में 5,775 छात्रों का समर्थन कर रहे हैं।

Sakal India Foundation has been working to empower students with Scholarships, Education Loans and Career Mentoring since 1959. The idea of setting up this organisation was to encourage meritorious students from a weak financial background with grants and scholarships to pursue higher education.

We offer Career Development Scholarship to brilliant students who are not able to meet the complete expenses of their education. CDS scheme will cover students from class 11th to Post-Graduation.

The Sitaram Jindal Foundation (SJF), formerly known as S J Jindal Trust, established in 1969 is a charitable organization and one of the most sought after international NGOs in Bangalore with the humanitarian objective of serving the poor and downtrodden in various fields. 

Besides awarding scholarships to more than 12000 students each year, the Foundation has been extending financial support to more than 500 charitable institutions annually to sustain their activities for over 46 years now.

Swami Dayanand Education Foundation provides Merit-cum-Means Scholarships to students pursuing professional courses in India. The aim of the Scholarship program is to offer help to deserving students who have secured the admission on the basis of merit at premier colleges in India. Thirty percent of our total scholarships are reserved for women. The Scholarship is offered to students pursuing Engineering, MBBS, Pharmacy, IT, Architecture courses in Government or private Institutes in India.

Sikh Human Development Foundation (SHDF) provides scholarships for higher professional education to bright students from low income families in Punjab and other Northern Indian states. We have provided more than eleven thousand scholarships, nearly three-quarters to women, during the last two decades, meeting a critical need in funding for higher education.

Scholarship recipients include orphans, children of widows and of terminally sick parents, farmers who committed suicide, agricultural laborers, domestic servants, female tailors, Gurudwara sewadars and other economically disadvantaged families. Most are from rural areas living in extreme poverty. Scholarships have transformed the lives of recipients, their families, and even whole communities.

Advaita Bodhi has been providing financial aid to the students in India who wish to pursue higher education, but lacked stable financial earning. This merit-means based scholarship program has produced many successful students who are now helping the society through their work.
